By using the Pocketrate app or this website you agree to these terms.
Indicative rates only
Exchange rates are indicative mid-market rates collected from public data sources and refreshed about once a day. They are not live, may contain errors or delays, and are not the rates a bank or money transfer service will offer you. Do not use Pocketrate as your only source for trading or for deciding how much money to send. Pocketrate is not financial advice.
Pocketrate Pro subscription
Pocketrate is free to use with a small banner ad. Pocketrate Pro is an optional auto-renewing subscription that removes ads and unlocks up to 12 currencies at once, unlimited rate alerts and one and five year rate history. It is available for US$2.99 per month or US$19.99 per year. The price shown in the App Store or Google Play when you subscribe is the one that applies, and it may vary by country.
Payment is charged to your Apple Account or Google account when you confirm the purchase. Your subscription renews automatically for the same period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel it at any time in your App Store or Google Play account settings. Cancelling stops future renewals, and you keep Pro until the end of the period you have already paid for.
Purchases are processed by Apple or Google under their terms, and refunds are handled by them under their policies. You can restore your subscription on a new device with the same store account. Prices may change, with notice as the stores require; a change applies from your next renewal and only if you accept it where the store requires that.
Rate alerts
Alerts are checked after each daily refresh and are provided on a best-effort basis. A notification may be delayed or not delivered, for example if notifications are turned off on your device.
Acceptable use
Do not misuse the service: no automated scraping of the API, attempts to bypass limits, or interference with the service. We may rate-limit or block abusive use.
No warranty and liability
Pocketrate is provided as is, without warranties. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for losses that result from relying on the rates or from the service being unavailable.
Changes
We may update these terms and will change the date above when we do. Continued use means you accept the update.
